.:: MURAT TOPOĞLU BIOGRAPHY ::. He was born in Avanos, TURKEY  in 1960 .          He was graduated from The Faculty of Medicine of Dokuz Eylül University in 1984, and at the same year he started to do his first acupuncture research in Switzerland.          He has been educated in the acupuncture academy in Colombo, Sri-Lanka, as an employee of the Ministry of Health in 1985.          Subsequently, he has participated in the 4th European Acupuncture and Natural Medicine Congress in Denmark.          He has gone to China in order to take a Masters degree in 1988.          After working in the mentioned field in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong-Kong, he has continued to undertake his research and observations in the Philippines and America.          He has been invited by WHO (World Health Organization) and WFAS to the 2nd World Congress of Medicine which has been held in Paris, France, and presented an announcement regarding Obesity and its treatment through acupuncture.          He has been participated in the World Congress of Medicine which has been held in the capital of Hungary, Budapest, in 25th-28th June 1992 and presented another declaration entitled “Treatment of Migraine through Acupuncture”.          Afterwards, he has been educated in Paris and Barcelona on the reducing of local fats and cellulitis and aesthetic Mesotherapy, which has been became a field started to grow rapidly in the world until then within the realm of medicine.          He has participated in the 3rd World Acupuncture Congress which has been held in Kyoto, Japan, in 20th-23rd November 1993, and presented an announcement.          He has been the General Secretariat of the International Acupuncture Symposium which has been held in Turkey in 1994.          He has participated to the International Congress which has been held in the United States of America, in New York in 20th September 1996 and presented an announcement concerning Obesity and Acupuncture.          He has been participated as an observer representing Turkey to the “Assembly of Determining Acupuncture Norms” which has been organized by The Faculty of Medicine of Milano and WHO in the 1st of November, in Cervia, Italy.          He has also participated in the Congress of World Acupuncture Associations Federations’ which has been held in China in October-November 1997.          Dr. Murat Topoğlu, who has received an invitation from Brazil during the course of his participation in the Chinese Medicine Congress which has been held in Brazil, has organized a conference and a workshop with respect to the obesity treatment.          He has participated in the Ear Acupuncture Congress which has been held in the United States of America, in Las Vegas, in November 1996. He has been successful in the International Ear Acupuncture examination and was granted the right to study in the States in the mentioned field.          He has participated in the Ear Acupuncture Congress which has been held in France, in Lyon, in May 1996 as well.          He has participated in the meeting of the 2nd International Obesity Association which has been held in Turkey in 4th-6th October 2002.          He has been the lecturer of the Acupuncture Course which has been undertaken by The Faculty of Medicine of Gazi University in 2003.          Currently, he has been selected to educate the medicine doctors in the Acupuncture Course which has been opened by The Cerrahpaşa Medicine Faculty of Istanbul University in 2005.          Dr. Murat Topoğlu is continuing his research as the owner of the Acupuncture Treatment Clinic which is located at Şişli for the time being.          Dr. Murat Topoğlu knows English, French and a bit of Chinese.
