In the developing Turkish
society, the number of working women has
increased rapidly thanks to the effects of the
economical conditions. In the one hand,
housework (house cleaning, ironing, taking care
of children, etc), and on the other, having
rapid, practical, tough unhealthy, breakfasts,
lunch and dinners have caused obesity to exist
in women. What should a working woman do in
order to get rid of obesity? First of all, in
order to understand if there is an organic
reason behind fatness, she -actually not only
women who are having overweight problems, but
also everyone- definitely should consult to a
doctor.
Subsequently, a diet program should be applied
to the person. The criteria which can be read
throughout the following little diet sample
should be taken into consideration:
MORNING:
A slice of bread containing bran,
A little piece of fat-free or half white cheese,
Light jam, in the size of 2 or 3 sugar spoons
Romaine lettuce, tomato, and parsley.
NOON:
A bowl of ready made soup with salad, yoghurt, ,
or, a meal containing meat (preferably fat-free
chicken or fish).
EVENING:
Grilled or steamed meat (chicken, fish, meatball
prepared without bread), mashed/oven-prepared
vegetable meals (olive oil or sunflower oil in
the size of sugar spoon, spices, onion, garlic
and little salt can be used), or, 2 pieces of
eggs (soft/hardboiled, or omelet prepared by
using sugar spoon size liquid oil in Teflon fry-pan).
Salad and yoghurt can be eaten at the same time
with all those meals.
Furthermore, 2-3 liters of water and 3-4
different fruits can be consumed.
Moreover, one should walk at least for an hour,
for 3 times a week, on her way back home from
work.
